Lightning Moo Queen

Arlen at Bluesfest, “Yeah, I really into this band you’ve never heard of: Lightning Moo Queen.”

We went to see a show at Bluesfest this year with the boys. K’naan was performing and although he didn’t perform “Waving Flag” the boys still had a good time. Harvard loved the fact that the massive woofers were pushing so much air that it shook the soles of his shoes, which literally made him dance. Arlen — well… he didn’t fall asleep, but I’m not sure he quite understood what was happening and why it had to happen so loud.

But then there was Sebastian. He was in rapt attention. You see, he was focused on following every instruction the performers gave. Wave your hands in the air? Check. Wave them like you just don’t care? I don’t really understand, but okay. Pump your fists? No problem.

In the end, it was a tonne of fun even though I couldn’t capture it on film. This is really the sort of thing we need to do more.

Bluesfest

They’re enjoying Bluesfest. You just need to take my word for it.

PS – Harvard and Sebastian ran into more friends at the show than we did. That’s pretty pathetic.

That’s a pretty entertaining group shot at the end. Sounds like a fun outing!
